From Hard Work to Improvement
But I also had a hard time, especially when it came to understanding the timelines of the topics. The dates, events, terms, and people who contributed to the development of ICT were overwhelming for me. I often found myself confused, forgetting details, or mixing them up. There were times I felt frustrated because no matter how I tried to memorize, the information just wouldn’t stick in my mind.
Even though it was difficult, I learned to find ways to cope with the challenges. I started writing down notes in a simpler way, reviewing them little by little instead of forcing myself to study everything in one sitting. I also tried to turn the timelines into stories or connections so they would be easier to remember. Asking my classmates and teachers for help also made a big difference because they helped me understand the parts I was struggling with. Slowly, I began to improve.
As I move on to the next quarter, I want to keep working on my study habits and try new techniques that will make learning ICT timelines easier, like using visual aids, charts, or concept maps. More importantly, I want to stay patient with myself and not give up when the lessons get tough. I know that if I continue to practice and put in the effort, I’ll not only do better in ICT but also grow as a student who can face challenges with determination.
