From Hard Work to Improvement

The first quarter of ICT has been a mix of both learning and challenges for me. I was able to discover new things about technology—how it started, how it developed through the years, and how it continues to change the way we live today. It made me realize how important ICT is, not only in school but also in our everyday lives. Learning about its history and contributions gave me a deeper appreciation of how far technology has come.

But I also had a hard time, especially when it came to understanding the timelines of the topics. The dates, events, terms, and people who contributed to the development of ICT were overwhelming for me. I often found myself confused, forgetting details, or mixing them up. There were times I felt frustrated because no matter how I tried to memorize, the information just wouldn’t stick in my mind.

Even though it was difficult, I learned to find ways to cope with the challenges. I started writing down notes in a simpler way, reviewing them little by little instead of forcing myself to study everything in one sitting. I also tried to turn the timelines into stories or connections so they would be easier to remember. Asking my classmates and teachers for help also made a big difference because they helped me understand the parts I was struggling with. Slowly, I began to improve.

As I move on to the next quarter, I want to keep working on my study habits and try new techniques that will make learning ICT timelines easier, like using visual aids, charts, or concept maps. More importantly, I want to stay patient with myself and not give up when the lessons get tough. I know that if I continue to practice and put in the effort, I’ll not only do better in ICT but also grow as a student who can face challenges with determination.
