Intayon Ilocos Sur Festival

 The Intayon Ilocos Sur Festival is a big celebration in Ilocos Sur. The word “Intayon” means “Let us go” in Ilocano. It invites everyone to come together and celebrate the culture and traditions of the province. The festival shows the unity and pride of the Ilocano people through fun and colorful activities.


                One of the main events of the festival is street dancing and cultural performances from different towns. The dancers wear bright costumes inspired by local products and history. Each town proudly shows its own identity through music and dance. The festival is usually held during the foundation anniversary of Ilocos Sur.

The festival also helps promote tourism and local businesses. People can enjoy food fairs and see local products and crafts. The Intayon Festival is not just a celebration. it reminds everyone of the strong unity and love of the people for their province and culture.

                         she was using a grasscutter under the sun, using her  full strength just to cutoff all the tall grasses.                     Then  she sweeps up the  scattered  grasses,  ensuring the place   is  clean and safe.  After that, She placed all the cut grasses into  the trash, keeping her surroundings neat and tidy.
